Join me Jason Broughton, Workforce Specialist with S.C. State Library, for a discussion series on strategies for finding a job in these tough economic times.

Discussion topics include:

1. 10 – 11 a.m. How to Search for Jobs (including online)
2. 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Resume Writing Tips and Review (bring a copy of your resume)
3. 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Overcoming Barriers to Employment (dress, criminal records, etc.)
4. 1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. Using Agencies Effectively in Job Searches (libraries, Trident One Stop, unemployment agencies).

You can come at any of the times listed or stay for the whole workshop. Feel free to drop by and see me for employment assistance or career advice.
